-
Preparing food for the animals
-
Cleaning pens
-
Changing out old water for fresh water
-
General upkeep (cleaning counters, dishes, laundry)
Depending on experience and age:
-
Helping with physical therapy and/or triage
-
Helping and registering intakes
Interning
College students who are interested in earning college credits and valuable leadership skills and experience may submit a resume to apply for an internship. Interns are offered housing on-site and must work 4 times a week (can work more!) Interns will have similar responsibilites to that of volunteers, but will also be more hands on with treatment of animals. Some may watch the treatment and/or triage process and, in some cases, help. If you are interested in applying for the internship, please contact us at 815-629-2212.
Thank you for helping our mission and Mother Nature!
